Who is the founder of Wae Rebo village
The founder of Wae Rebo Village is a man name Empu Maro. He built the village 100 years ago and now reaching the 18th generation descendants. The unique things is the Mbaru Niang traditional house, covered in palm grass from the roof to the ground.

- Accommodation: You’ll stay in a local hut or Mbaru Niang house, a traditional cone-shaped house, and receive a basic mattress and blanket.
- Food: You’ll be provided with local breakfast and dinner, along with coffee, tea, and water.
- Activities: Explore the village, interact with the villagers, learn about their weaving and traditional activities, and witness the traditional welcome ceremony.

Day 01. Start from Labuan Bajo to Wae Rebo village
- Start the overland trip at 7.00 – 9.00 AM Local time.
- Drive from Labuan Bajo to Denge Village for around 4- 5 hours.
- Trekking will take 2-3 hours, depending on body endurance, from Denge to the top of Waerebo Village.
- It is highly recommend that the participants a good physical condition.
- Welcoming ceremony in the chief’s house.
- Continued by seeing and experiencing the local community’s everyday life.
- Dinner and stay at Mbaru Niang ( Waerebo traditional circular cone-shaped houses with very unique architecture).
Day 02. Return from Wae Rebo village to Labuan Bajo
- Breakfast with locals.
- Sightseeing around the Village
- Trekking down from Waerebo to Denge continued with Lunch
- Repi beach
- Lembor spider web rice fields
- Back To Labuan Bajo
